I am Annissa M.J. Carter, fondly called Anni Mae (4th generation Annie Mae). Ruzz Jarz was started in 2018, named after my paternal grandmother Ruzine, who always made homemade wine for the family during the holidays. I hold a BS in Business Management and a Master's in Business and Health Administration. I started bartending in 2013 right out of college and received my first license in Georgia in 2014. In 2017, I became licensed in both Alabama and Georgia
I've always loved to entertain and socialize. After moving back to Alabama, I began doing small events for family and friends and took bartending jobs at places like Top Golf, jazz festivals, Onyx of Birmingham, and home realty companies. Encouraged to step out in faith, I embarked on my entrepreneurial journey. Ruzz Jarz is not just a hobby but a true passion for the art of bartending.
